The one dual bulb flourescent fixture in my workshow wasn’t cutting it, so I’ve installed some LEDs. Huge improvement, and they were free, having been salvaged from some fixtures we were getting rid at work. The guts fit perfectly between the joists and coverage is excellent. Plus, they’re rated for use in damp environments, so not having any climate control out there shouldn’t be a problem.

I don’t suppose you have any more free LED fixtures? I could make it worth your while.

Yep. I work in a retirement home, and apparently the old folks didn’t like the lights, so they were headed for the dumpster. I asked the maintenance guys if I could have them, and they said sure.

LED lighting is awesome :) I’ve replaced every single bulb/tube in my apartment with LEDs, saved 20% on the electrical bill, and SO much better light it’s not even funny :)
